The beach is reached from Woodbine Avenue and Shepard Avenue in the Bryantville section of Pembroke (near 76 Woodbine Ave); there is no dedicated parking lot, only roadside parking on those two streets.

📜Backstory

The pond's shore was home to the Mayflower Grove amusement park from 1901 to 1940 (rides, arcade, theater, dance hall, and dining), built by the Brockton and Plymouth Railroad company; the surrounding land was historically inhabited by the Mattakeesett band of the Massachusett Nation.
