Long Pond Beach and Boat Ramp

Gentle sand entry and a roped-off swim area suited to families, plus seasonal lifeguards on duty in summer. However the pond has a shelf that drops off to a max depth of ~70 ft, so caution is warranted once kids move beyond the shallow entry, and cold-water shock is a risk in early/late season.

No significant hike is required. The swimming area is close to parking and access.

No rental concession operates on site; the rack program is storage for owned watercraft, not a public rental service.
